Of course all Diva/Princess Tea Parties, Birthday Parties  and pickups, and/or Bridal Tastings are solely booked around YOUR availability!  So don't let those hours scare you!  Auntie is always in the bakery cooking up somethin' sweet!  The Bakery is always available for those church functions, cupcake decorating parties, Bunko games or Ladies Auxiliary Luncheons, and Auntie has a whole host of caterer's at her fingertips!

"Fairy Cakes"

Cupcakes, also known as "Fairy cakes" have become so darn cute!  Gone are the days when they were only served at children's birthday parties all dressed up with a quick swipe of the frosting and maybe a sprinkle of colored sugar or jimmies!  Today's cupcakes show up everywhere, from adult birthday parties to weddings and their decorations range anywhere from the very simple to stunning works of art! The name "cupcake" (or "cuppies" as I like to call them) were used differently back in the 1800's.  The name "cup cake" simply referred to a cake where the ingredients were measured not weighed.  But before the 1880's ingredients were actually weighed, when the recipes started to be given in a "cup" measurement, the cake recipes were named "cupcakes" to reflect the difference.  Just a little history on my precious cuppies!
